What got you into racing & just cars in general? Ive always been into cars. My dad is a mechanic so there were always different cars at my house and for some reason, I found it fascinating. I liked watching, helping, and listening to him talk about each part, what they were for and how they worked. Everytime we rode in the car, I'd try to name each car that passed us. Racing in general I got into in high school. I would see guys in the suped up Hondas, Acuras, and Mustangs and I thought they were so cool. So I started buying Super Street, Modified, and Import Tuner mags and would religiously wait for the next issue. I read about Drifting in one of the mags, went to an event and fell in love with it.

Shout outs/Thank yous: Thanx to Nadine, all the wonderful and cool DP girls, and the instructors for welcoming me into this awsome group of girls who share one big passion of mine (cars and racing/drifting). My family for being there no matter what, even though they think I'm crazy.

How do you pay for your racing/fixing up cars habit? I work my butt off and I dont pay for labor on my car, blessed to have a mechanic as my dad ^_^.

Idols or people you look up to? Nadine Hsu, formally known as Nadine Toyoda :). I read about her in a magazine, then after saw her at a Formula D event in Irwindale and I thought it was so cool that she drifts, I didnt really know any other girls who were doing it. I've come to know her and not only is she great with cars and stuff but shes a super nice and great person overall. BTW nadine, I know where you live, Bwahahahaha :).

What would you like to say to any aspiring woman racers out there? Go out and race becuase the only one stopping you is yourself. It isnt a male dominated sport anymore. There are more and more women out there racing and we would never hesitate to help you out and as surprising at it may seem neither will the guys. Everybody is super friendly and love to help a fellow racer out, or you can always join Drifting Pretty :).

What do you think of the Drifting Pretty Program? How has it helped you? The Drifting Pretty program is one a kind. There isnt a program out there that i know of that welcomes a girl with open arms, helps her out and teaches her many aspects of cars and racing. Not only do we learn how to fix our cars and racing techniques but we go out and there and race together. We are a support system for each other and with all that we have also come to develop friendships that im sure we all cherish. Drifting Pretty has been a stepping stone for me. Without Drifting Pretty i wouldnt be doing something that ive always dreamed of, racing :).
