What got you into racing & just cars in general?

My sweetheart, Mr. Andrew and getting an FC was the final nail in the coffin/money pit. I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Shout outs/Thank yous:

Mom & Pops – for letting me stay at home and for helping me pay for school (and a garage space for the FC)
Andrew – <3 You helped me find the best thing in my life. Without your support, none of this would have happened.
The rotary community – I just simply couldn’t have done it without your encouragement, all of you. I will never forget how welcoming the community is.
Everyone at CSCC autox – now I’m in for life, can’t wait to be back again
Jim Hall Karting School – instructors, your abilities to see what I’m doing wrong from the other side of the track is completely terrifying. I will forever be in awe.

How do you pay for your racing/fixing up cars habit?

I lived at home for quite some time and that let me do a lot. I just use whatever I have left over every month after bills and savings to do whatever I can.

Idols or people you look up to?

Perhaps the person who said this: “I have no idols. I admire work, dedication, and competence.”

What would you like to say to any aspiring women racers out there?

Don’t hold back. If you want it, go out there and get it. The community is much more welcoming than you could imagine. The world of racing is so deep, so full of different kinds of driving, that there will have to be something for anyone wanting to get into it. Honestly, there’s so much to do and so little time! There is not a moment when I am not learning something new.

What do you think of the Drifting Pretty Program? How has it helped you?

Drifting Pretty has exposed me to things that I didn’t think I’d be able to seek out myself. There’s so much to do all the time—it’s neverending and I love it. Being in Drifting Pretty, I realized more and more that racing is a team sport and not an individual one.
